A studio where overlooked materials begin again.
BEJAOUI Reimagined Routes Studio explores the beauty and potential held within ordinary and discarded things. Water bottles become hand-shaped beads, unwanted clothing becomes richly textured forms, and bottle tops become playful objects.
Reclaimed and overlooked materials provide the inspiration and starting point, brought together with carefully chosen findings, cords and decorative details for strength, function and finish. The studio brings together one-of-one creations, evolving material studies and Waste to Treasure workshops—each shaped with curiosity, care and a belief in new possibilities.
Behind the studio is a way of seeing that has been part of my life for many years.

For as long as I can remember, I have found joy in creating, exploring nature and noticing possibilities in things that others might pass by.
My background in education and community work has deepened my belief that creativity can do more than make an object. It can bring people together, build confidence and inspire a different way of seeing the world around us. That belief now shapes both the pieces I create and the workshops I deliver.
BEJAOUI Reimagined Routes Studio is where these parts of my life come together: creativity, nature, learning and the desire to give overlooked materials a beautiful new route. Every creation carries something of its former life while becoming part of a new story.

The making process
From bottle to bead
These beads begin as discarded water bottles. I cut, shape, colour and carefully roll each small piece by hand, building texture and character before it becomes part of a finished design. Shown here on their making sticks, they reveal an important part of the journey—the patient transformation that happens before a piece of jewellery takes its final form.
